I have been seeing Chris for on/off therapy sessions for some time and I would highly recommend him. He is good at making difficult questions easier, and following any mental paper trails you may have, enabling you to use thought processes you wouldn't have considered before. In the time I have spent in therapy I have learnt to be more honest with myself, and confront difficult thought patterns I would have previously wilfully ignored.
Chris was my son's therapist at school. He spent many months supporting us through the all the challenges that were thrown at us on a regular basis. Chris could identify my son’s strengths and weaknesses and bring the very best out of a withdrawn and extremely complex child. It is to Chris's credit that when my son was, asked who or what he would most miss about school, gave the answer 'Chris of Course!'. Our son starts college soon as a young adult who is able to think more about his actions and apply the skills and a framework that he would not have had, without Chris's fantastic support.
Throughout his time practicing as a therapist within the school, Chris demonstrated exceptional insight and skill in analysing pupil behaviour, contextualising this with the school and family dynamic and then translating this into an effective therapeutic process. Time after time I witnessed his ability to connect with some of our hardest to reach pupils, and then accompany them on a transformative theraputic journey.
